move that body
Kid Kenobi
‘Move That Body’ is Kid Kenobi’s ode to hip house – a time when early house, hip hop, techno, and rave got together and made mad ecstasy fuelled love. No wonder he still can’t let it go.
To help Kenobi’s 90’s obsession we’ve enlisted a stellar line up of baggy pants ravers. First up is Rico Tubbs who steps out of his favoured Bmore sound to bring us the return of speed garage. Bassline ravers unite! Speed + garage = PARTAY!
Next up is fRew who flips the script, re-sings the vox, and delivers a mix he himself called ‘a masterpiece’. And damn, we couldn’t agree more: amazingly beautiful, epic, massive, and loved up. “We love you fRew! We mean it maaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!”
Destroy Disco we’ve decided to re-name ‘Dirty Disco’ after his smashing mix up of club beats and dubstep basslines. Clubstep is born! Killa.
Last but not least is Downtown. Da man. Takin it way back to the full o' funk innocence of the 90’s. It’s a remix Dan Aux called “everything that is cool about music: a little bit Kraftwerk, a little bit techno, a lilttle bit hip hop, ahhhhh its so damn good!”
We couldn't agree more.
Happy raving!

too fresh
Two Fresh
Our main brothers in blood and art, Kid Kenobi and London based Hugga Thugg launched their studio project in late 2008. The first remix bombs spoke for themselves, landing not one but two ARIA club chart top tens in the same week.
Their debut single 'Too Fresh' comes packing more punch than Rocky Balboa on a fresh dose of hGH. Originally intended as an intro to Two Fresh's DJ sets, 'Too Fresh' soon exploded into an all out assault of basslines, breaks, baltimore, 90s rave, rave and more rave.
Pre-released on Kid Kenobi's comp Klub Kids 01 in June 2009, the debut single release of Klub Kids is an absolute cracker, with remixes coming in the form of Lee Mortimer's absolute bassline monster (it has crowds blowing imaginery horns on dancefloors around the country) and a funky ass breaks jam by Brighton's DJ Adsorb.
But don't just take our word for it, check the vibes from some of our favourite tastemakers:
"Too Fresh is biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig!!! Proper hype partystart track..... love it!!!!!!!!!" - Foamo
"I am going to smash this like a wreckin ball!!!" - Ajax
"This tune is awesome.... Big up, big up!!!" - Oh Snap!
"Lee Mortimer mix is off the chain, klub kids KILLIN IT!! Big ups Two Fresh!! - Danny T

Various mixed by Kid Kenobi
'Klub Kids 01' is Kid Kenobi's eighth compilation release, and the first release on his new label Klub Kids. As with all bar one of his other seven compilation releases, comes as a dual disc, the Klub and the Dub.
The Klub disc takes in fidget house, baltimore, breakbeat and tinges of electro, courtesy of aritsts such as Herve, Fake Blood, Deadmau5, Two Fresh, The Crooker, The Presets, Dizzie Rascal, South Rakkas Crew, Jackson Jackson, The Prodigy, Tone Loc, Armand Van Helden, P-Money and exclusive pre-release new singles from Kid Kenobi.
The Dub disc once again sees Kid Kenobi delving back into one of his favourite musical styles, taking in many contemporary sounds fusing dubstep, dubby house, dubby breaks from feature artists Stanton Warriors, Rockers Hi-Fi, Resin Dogs, Shut Up & Dance, Dreadzone and Deep Fried Dub.
Klub Kids 01 is a reflection of dance music once again embracing hip hop, dub, reggae, soul, funk and old school beats in much the same way the early 90s did.
